Default non vvti block swap question

So I got my hands on a cheap 2jzge non vvti motor. I have been having issues with my VVT-i engine on the IS (knocking and stalling and just not running right) so I have a few questions.

I have searched google, all the forums for a answer and I couldn't really find one. The engine came out of a 97 toyota supra na and I want to swap the block out with mine. Questions would be, how would I deal with the VVT-i oil supply and would it just be easier swapping in the whole non vvti instead of putting my VVT-i head on. Also what would I need? Would my ECU be able to manage

Thanks!

here a few fun pics lol

yeah im having the same problem i have a aristo nonvvti motor layiing around and my is the motor wasnt exactly taken care of i think the motor is on its way, ive read that some people redilled and tapped the side of the block, or get like a sandwhich block fromt eh oil filter and have it lead into the vvti oil supply. but i also read that the mounts may not bolt up like using two intake brackets for the mounts, but im curious as to whats else is needed.
