I found a 2001 solar yellow IS300 with 85000 miles that I am interested in buying. It is in great condition with barely a scratch on it. The carfax report is clean and it has 2 previous owners that each owned the car for 6 years.

Are there any serious issues I should be aware of in the 2001 models? I've done research and they seem to have a good reliability history.

My girlfriend and I have a 2012 IS that we share so this will just be a secondary car and I won't be putting a lot of miles on it.

the most serious issue would be neglect. make sure it's been maintained espesially having done the 90K maintenance.
