Ok, so I've bought 01 with aftermarket stereo in it. Solving the wiring seems like a mystery of the universe. Stock amp is completely out, wires cut by the plug and rewired to double din radio and aftermarket pioneer amp in the trunk. Speakers were replaced with Sony kickers too. Double Din touch screen sucks and is unresponsive. Horrible CD player keeps breaking up. Aux quality is a disaster. In addition reverse camera, which i want to rewire to popup screen, I'm currently working on. Wires are cut by the stock radio plug too Quick question, is it possible to run stock radio with aftermarket amp and speakers?

yes the radio is not anything fancy, It just kicks from the factory amps in the car

No you wont be able to run your stock radio again.

Just rewire it and get a proper deck. Its not too hard to rewire. Had to do it a couple times for some IS friends.
