Default HOw many miles do you get outta your IS300?

I love my car! Ain't no doubt about it. Got a 5 speed manual and this sucker only gives me about 260 to 270 miles per tank. This averages about 17.5 miles per gallon. Damn! What a price to pay when you drive a nice ride.

Really! 375 miles a tank? Is your a stick? I mix my driving in the city and highway, still can't pass 300 miles a tank.

so say average is around 20 miles per gallon and we hold 17.5 gallons in our tank....we should get around 350 miles.....

Keep in mind you will run out of gas before your car is completely empty. There is typically around 1-2 wasted gallons of gas. So if you take that into account, you only really use about 15-16 gallons which at 20 mpg gives you 300-320 miles. Then you have to take into account that most people don't like to run their cars that low on gas, so you are left with around 260-280 miles per tank.

Nope, E-Shift.. Over the 14 months that I've had it, I consistently average between 24.5 -27 MPG.

I have an '02 5 speed and I short shift a lot and still get just over 20 mpg, mostly suburbs with some highway, A/C on most of the time, 93 octane gas. The light comes on a little over 300 miles. I think this car needs 3.27 rear gears along with some engine mods to up the mileage.

Yep I get around 20 mpg fwy driving. Don't expect much. The way the car is geared, i'd be surprised if any of us will ever see 25 mpg.
