^ agreed a standalone is a better choice if you are turboing your ride. There is much debate about which is better, each has its benefits and each has its downsides.
Haltech, AEM, Greddy all are very good products, but again research their systems and what are common problems associated with their use.
I know on my.is there were a few threads associated to issues with AEM and Haltech.

what are your main plans for the ride? I can do my best to help you figure out a good route, but there are several routes you can go.
first thing is to figure out REAL application ability. that means in rela life,,, what do are you prepared to do, pay for, want from it.
can you handle a build, can you be prepared for the cost of gas, maintenance, decreased reliability, increased attention from people and police. increased attention while driving to make sure you dont crack a bumper or something.

Good question...
right now i just want to get as much hp out as possible for as little as possible....i wanna set the car up for drifting. it will be a slow build i need it as a daily driver right now & i aint got money to throw around...
