Aftermarket Radiator for IS300?
#16
i've been running an aluminum KOYO rad for 6 years now no problems... the OEm FANs bolt right up, everything fits and it works great i was expecting to eventually push ALOT of HP and so i expected i would put it to use but i never got that high... now i just appreciate the increased capacity for cooling as a general preventative measure as i stil ldrive the car very hard and when we go to the track it is usually 100 deg plus and you are beatign the snot out of the car so in those conditions i think it is helpful and gives you a bit more head room in cooling capacity for extreme use...
if you dont expect to really hammer the car for good long durations of time in hot assed conditions and/or run it hard when boosted in hot climates etc... than the only reason to swap from the OEm is for looks.....so you have a bright & shiny Radiator top sitting in front of the motor...
FWIW i have a spare OEM Rad that has less than a year of use available it is like new and in perfect shape
best of luck man
