Well guys after 5 years of driving my 2000 ford ranger, i made a huge upgrade. I recently bought a 2003 Lexus IS300. It is black and bone stock. It has all the options except navigation. Its an IS300 with full leather seats and the interior is all black as well. I bought it with 38,000 miles on it. My ranger was my very first vehicle and lasted me from 30k to 117k. It was a base model truck with crank windows and manual locks. This IS is a huge upgrade and way to nice for my second ever owned car.
Enough about all the things you already know. On to Pictures.
Photobucket is uploading slower than anticipated sorry fellas pics soon.

Thanks Kenny. Yeah it was the only IS within 300 miles of southern indiana with less than 100,000 miles on it. I scored big with 38k.
Anyway can anyone point me towards how to change the dash and radio lights out? That orange is just not going to work for me. Ive already searched through 20 posts even dating back to 06 that havent helped yet.

Congratulations on the upgrade. Did you have the car inspected? Remember, rubber (belts and seals) dry out over time, so you may want to look into needed maintenance items. If your timing belt snaps, your engine will probably need to be rebuilt/replaced. Do you have any plans to mod the car?

Actually I didnt check the belts. I suppose Ill crack the timing cover off and look at it.
Orange isnt for me. I plan to do small mods but nothing major. Turbo is a no. Though young and dumb I also have some sense and need a long lasting vehicle. You all know for those what if years. (thats my dad talkin through me again.lol.)
Id like to change the lights on the dash. Looking at exhausts that are mild toned through the low to mid range and scream at W.O.T. Maybe a computer tuner or cams. Honestly coming from a hard to tune 4cyl ranger to this baby Im in Modification Overload.
Ill ask you guys what can I do that keeps the car capable of gobs of miles but puts me ahead of or running with stock v8 mustangs? Is that Possible.

Thanks everyone. Yeah I knew as soon as I saw it I wanted it.
Thanks for the help. In truth thats less needed to keep up with them than I thought.
I do have an issue. The passenger side head light assembly is fogging up with condensation inside it. How can I remove the already in there water and what is a good thing to seal it up with? Any easy ideas on how to find where its getting in?
