Default Heated seats switch harness w/o heated seats?

Guys

Just retrofitted a 6" touchscreen gps/av screen into a motorized nav housing. During the install I noticed that there is a harness for the heated seats behind the blank switch housing (next to trac control) notwithstanding my model IS doesn't have heated seats. I tested the harness and it is live!!!

Any ideas?

Cheers

My 03 had the harness, but the seats didn't have the heating element. The switches worked, but my butt was still cold...cold for SoCal anyway.

Yeah there should be a harness under the seat that plugs into the seats.
Probably have to get new seats if they dont have heaters.
Shouldn't be hard to find new seats, I have black leather/suede seats with heater that I'd sell

As he said^^^, if you get seats with the heating elements in them they will work though.

No, if your car has that harness it should be below your front seats probably tucked under the carpet
