thinking about a new set of wheels opinions
I am thinking about buying a set of wheels just like these
http://www.nengun.com/work/set-of-fo...ls-rezax-54363
what do you guys think about them? and how well would they fit on the car? i just have Eibach 1.4" Sportline lowering springs on my car, also what size tires should I go with to avoid any rubbing and any rolling of the fenders? how do you think these wheels would look black? i got a buddy that has a brand new set of 4 of these wheels, they were bought for his 91 Supra he sold and never installed or mounted or balanced on tires. he offered me the wheels for $150 all 4 new in the box.

did some more research and the wheels are rezax roar's, tomm i am going to go look at the wheels and probably buy them, provided they are 8" or 9" wide. hopefully they aren't 10" but from what i've read they are most commonly 8" front and 9" rear, will get more specs on them tomm.

not really a fan of those wheels. the design is blah, theyre 17s and black? cmon. black wheels i really cant stand. 17s are hard to make look nice on the IS. generally 18s is the way to go.
i say save your money for something better.
you can find deals on used wheels at vrwheels.com or memoryfab.com

You are right, they are Works, post them on craigslist
"WORK WHEELS FOR SALE"
Lotta people will go nuts over these just because they are works!
I can see these on a 240 or a miata... just not on a lexus.
I once bought some super crappy 19" bling bling rims from this wannabe rapper lookin guy
I paid $300 for the wheels & tires just because the tires were brand new fresh Nitto 225/35zr19... All 4 fresh tires!!
The rims were seriously beat....
So I just took off the tires and re-listed the rims on craigslist for $200
Sold them for $180 in just 2 days, probably could have gotten the $200 if I held out but I just wanted to get them out the door!!
So I basically got 4 brand new tires for $120 + $20 to take all the tires off the old rims.
Less than the cost of one tire new from discount tire!

Wow you already got them?
Was it a local transaction?
I wouldn't buy tires for them (unless you get a really cheap set)
Chances are whoever buys them is going to want to get the rims without tires (just to make the price cheaper).
And I don't think anyone is gonna want to pay more than $500 for 17" rims when you can find 18" and 19" for $500 all day long...
But yeah man you can probably get $100 profit, maybe more if you are willing to sit on them and wait it out.
Just my opinion, you could surprise the hell out of me and sell them tomorrow for $900 for all i know!! haha

i will do that for sure man. yea i paid $150 haha thats why i couldn't pass them up reguardless of if i liked them or not. the guy i got them from bought a 91 supra tt and the wheels came with the car a spare set. the supra actually had newer generation supra wheels on it. and he sold the car and really wanted to get rid of the wheels and he had no clue what kinda wheels they even were. and he said $150 so i jumped haha.
