Default toyomoto headers

can anyone tell me if the toyomoto headers would be street legal because some people told me that it removes all the catalytic converters?

I think that right now there aren't any street legal headers out there. The problem is that you have to get them carb cert. and no one wants to spend the money. However if you can pass inspection you're fine. You can always run with the special emission gas that claims to allow you pass the test or else they will give you your money back.

Pep Boys. I saw that additive when I was looking for car cleaning stuff. It sounded interesting. If you add the headers, and then allow them to get dirty, or dirty the up before inspection he many not even notice there is a difference!!!

um except for the extra noise the headers will make.

Not true. In a lot of states ANY modification to the cats (including removal) from their stock form is cause for inspection failure, regardless of your emissions. Its not like I think they'll check, but i'm sure you see my point.

good point soy--- as far as visuals go yeah someplaces might give you a hard time... keep your stock manifold...if you get headers andthrow it back on for inspection

I dont think there will ever be a street legal header for the is3 because of the two cats in the stock exhaust manifold.
