Default help with aristo 4spd transmission...

sup guys...
Im in the process of dropping in a 2001 aristo vvt-i 2jz with the 4spd tranny into my 02 is300. the motor is in the car already motor mounts bolted up. as im finishing bolting up my transmission i notice the rubber flange that connects to the driveshaft is pushing up on the plastic cover for the shifter box. i was told i had to get a 93 supra tt flange ( part # 37304-35041) and with slight modifications to the driveshaft i should be able to make it work. after a special order from toyota ariving today and them specifically telling me i couldnt return special order parts, the bore on the tranny shaft is too big for the flange. i was just wondering if anyone could help me out instead of me keep guessing and tossing money out the window... any input is appreciated...

Stealth Is, why put a 4speed auto from aristo while you already have a 5speed auto trans from the IS. Should just bolt the aristo motor to your existing trans.
