Who's making BIG Horsepower w/their IS?
I saw picts of a swift-racing supercharged IS300 at the meet down in SoCal
Who's the owner of THAT car? That setup looked AWESOME.
I was wondering how much hp and speed and numbers were coming out of that car.
Also was wondering who in this forum was putting out BIG HP/Torque numbers and what you are using?
Hp/Torque/0-60times/1/4 mile/ and what u are using?
Turbo?nitrous?supercharger?

That was OCIS with his Stage II Supercharger from SRT. I believe he is making 240 hp at the wheels.
He really needs to talk to SRT to get that sucker bumped up to 260+ rwhp.

I can give you a rough idea. It's about 8k for stage 2. It might be going up though. I'm not sure about the Area 51 SC though. I haven't seen any hard numbers about it, well for that matter soft numbers.

IMO for a "stage 2" kit that is intercooled making 240rwhp is not very good. That is on a 5 SPEED too. Area 51 stage 1 kit isnt intercooled and makes 250 to the wheels on a AUTO. And $8,000?.. The A51 kit is much less than that. If you are going to spend that much money.. spend a little more and go to Toyomoto and get a tubo kit. So far they are the only tuner ive seen making the "BIG hp"

Notice i didn't say it was the best option. I think that going to Toyomoto is the best choice. However there are two problems there. 1) You would have to drive 24-36 hours to Flordia in order for them to work on your car (well I would in southern cal) 2) WHen you don't live locally you are pretty much on your own as far as warranty issues are concerned. I wish they would open a shop out here.

LXOGOOD,Just some small info. I talked with one of the head mechanics (Ed) at Van Nuys lexus and he has installed both the SRT and Area 51 supercharger. One of them being.........you guessed it ,OCIS. His opinon was that the SRT had a cleaner set up, in terms of not having to drill into the oil pan and moving the ABS sensors. All of the installs occured after hours at his place and yes they do void warranties and are not smog legal. In fact he is the "go to mechanic" for any SRT products, MO knows him and will refer you to him if you need any SRT product installations.
