Alright a mini update. I got new shoes and started messing around with it. remember these are temp until I save up for some aggressive wheels I need something to ride on since I am selling the other wheels. Here are a few pics.

This is when I brought it home and washed it down. (flat black)

I took off the paint on the lip to see how it would look with the black.

Started to strip the paint to chrome

work in progress..

Done! finished to chrome.

Started to tape it up and respray since I am not a fan of chrome but it looked a little nice to me on those wheels for once haha.. (primer white)

Then sprayed it gold.

3 of the diff colors. I couldn't put the black one here because it was already chrome.. They all looked nice to me lol. The white would of been shiny if I used the gloss one with CC on it but not sure about going white on white for my IS..

Here is the finished project

What do you guys think? I didn't get to put it on the car yet because I am letting the paint dry right now and working on the other 2 haha.

Gold will look really good on white. White is hard to keep clean, but Im sure if you searched on myIS. You will find a couple of cars with white on white wheels

Other than that, everything is coming along nicely. Why didnt you keep the ES wheels on the IS? They looked aggressive to me
