I love the TRD seat belts in the backseat. I wonder if those CF A piller overlays effect the curtain airbag deployment in the 2002-2005 models?

This was already addressed in another thread. The OE B-Pillar is simply pushed aside in airbag deployment, the cf cover will simply be pushed away with it. The bag does not explode through the pillar nor does it blast the pillar at the driver.

Obviously,

The bag deploys via the seem at the roof and pillars. This can often be a tricky mod for safety in the event of side impact if the CF is thick enough.
