Unhappy Everything is going wrong

I am 21 years old and the day after Christmas I bought a 2001 IS 300 from the dealers. About 1 week later I noticed a softball size hole in the front bumper. I swore up and down to my boyfriend that I did not hit anything. A few days later my windshield squirt stopped working. I took it to the dealers since I purchased the extended warranty. The motor died not a problem they could fix it, but then they noticed a hole in the wiper fluid bottle, that was not covered by warranty. Not wanting to pay for them to install a new bottle I had a friend do it. He found a huge rock inside the bottle. Apparantly while I was driving a rock flew up and went through my car causing both holes. About another month later my boyfriend backed into it in the driveway. The good think about this, he claimed it on insurance and they fixed everything including the hole from the rock. So now I finally have my car back and it looks great. Well today on my way to work I hear a noise and notice a crack in the windshield. I love my lexus but maybe I am just too young to have one.

That sucks, hopefully everything works out for you. Also this is the Second generation IS forum, not that it matters much.

Dont worry Lizzy stuff happens. Believe me we all have a turn in the barrel. Windshield cracks are a fact of life, dont sweat it. Some states make the insurance company cover it without a deductable so you might call your insurance people.

If it is just a little star type pit, I am told that that can be fixed and lots of times the windshield people will come to you.

It will be okay, these things all go along with automobile ownership.

thats nothing, in about a five week period on my old civic, I had two of my tires blow out, the rims ended up getting cracked/bent and were unfixable, then a rock hit my windshield and caused about a 8 inch crack. Then my car got broken into (smashed windows and torn up the interior). Then I got into an accident and totaled my car...

It happens to all of us. dont let it get you down.
