My Carson/L-Tuned (with pics)
When I purchased my 2003 IS back in November 2002, mods were the furthest thing from my mind (I thought it was a great car, stock). Yeah, I had thought of maybe getting some aftermarket wheels but it was not a priority; I had more important things to do with my hard-earned money.
The great L-Tuned parts sale of Winter 2004 changed all that. When Carson Toyota put the L-Tuned rims on sale for $600 a set I just had to get them - I never could resist a bargain Then Sewell jumped in the fray with their own L-Tuned sale. After buying the wheels from Carson, I picked up the L-Tuned exhaust, sways, and springs from Sewell. It was a good Christmas for me in 2004. I then went on to purchase the L-Tuned spoiler and TRD grill early this year. I was content to take my time installing these things and they sat collecting dust for a few months. A chance meeting with Silveraltezza and Flipside909 (also edfrsd with his GS) one Saturday at LMW, while getting my springs and exhaust installed, changed all that. After seeing these guys' IS300's I knew that the next time I saw them my car was NOT going to be "mostly" stock. The next day I installed my spoiler and TRD grill. I immediately contacted Steve Ganz at Carson Toyota and told him that I was interested in the CarsonTuned aerokit. After a few bumps in the road this is what I ended up with. A Carson/L-Tuned hybrid IS300.
Thanks go out to Steve Ganz of Carson Toyota and Darrel Diller of Sewell Lexus for the awesome prices and great service. Thanks also to Ryan (Flipside909) for fielding my questions over the phone while he was up North for one of the many meets he attends (he never made me feel like I was bothering him) and to Joseph (Silveraltezza) for giving me a few install tips and for turning me onto the voice Nav mod.
Here are a few pics with more to follow once I find the time to visit a nicer venue for pictures.

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.
Yo Ryan, if you ever do get L-Tuned rims we'll have to take pics of the twins. BTW, I'm thinking of copying your yellow fogs
