2002 IS300 Suspension
Hello all, I just wanted a confirmation from someone experienced in this department in regards to the IS300. I'm looking at lowering mine and adding new rims and tires. Details are below:
Thinking of purchasing Koni Sport Shocks, in addition to H&R Sport Springs, the wheels I'm adding will be the Zinik Z7's 18x7.5 and Dunlop SP Sports.
I've heard mixed reviews in regards to lowering, does anyone see or know of any issues that may be exposed by installing these parts? Should I be worried about ball joints from the additional negative camber that will be added by lowering? As well as any other gotchas...
Bottom line, I'm looking to increase performance, decrease wheel well space, and add a professional "not bouncy" slammed look. Thoughts are appreciated!

agree...
don't forget to chk your wheel offset before you buy to minimize potential rubbing problems
also, if you want to improve handling performance, don't forget a good set of sway bars, too

check out the eibach/ltuned(same as eibach dif packaging) springs, it lowers it an inch and it it meant to go with stock shocks, I have them now and the ride is fine not bouncy a bit stiffer if anything.

I highly recommend the Bilstein/Eibach setup. It's a proven combo and it's much better than stock but not harsh like other aftermarket suspensions. An L-Tuned/Eibach Sway bar is perfect addition to this as well. Anything stiffer is pointless.
