Hi
i am in REunion island (the island , where we found some parts of the crashed malaysia arline plane ...)
i bought this month my NX, cosmica grey color ,pack luxe, LHD and with the pioneer 8 speakers
I have already heard of the Mark levinson head unit , sorry this is not an audiophile systeme , garbage .... and the Pioneer is no more...
I finaly planing on to fit another head unit in it , to fit some decents speakers too, i am an older IASCA french boy, i will change it and post the pics later

Yes , no problem to do that soon ,the only thing that i can assure you is that the head unit is 100% pure PIONEER , the only MArk LEvison brand is for the amplifier located in the rear ...

all speakers are junk , my friend has a shop and he "opened" an nx200t last 5 days

Le model Mark Levinson n'est pas un simple Pioneer. C'est un model uniquement fabrique for Toyota/Lexus.

Il faut aussi fare attention au fait que le stereo peut aussi controller des fonctions autre que le son. Par example, the CD dans le model IS 2eme generation controlait les functions du climatiseur.

Oui ce n'est pas un simple pioneer , mais c'est un pioneer quand meme ...

Pour le son j'ai 2 pistes

*idée 1)
1) changer les speakers avant :
2) mettre une voix centrale sans tweeter
3)rajouter un simple ampli et y un subwoofer

PRO:
-scène sonore étroite mais relative bonne stéréo
-meilleure définition
-un bon niveau d'infra
CON:
-pas de "time alignement "

*idée 2)
1) changer les speakers avant :
2) mettre une voix centrale sans tweeter
3)rajouter des amplis et un subwoofer
4)rajouter un processeur DSP

PRO:
-scène sonore large et profonde
-meilleure définition
-un bon niveau d'infra
CON:
-pas de "time alignement "
-Noise Floor very very high

For the sound I have 2 ideas

* idea 1)
1) change the front speakers:
2) to a central voice without tweeter
3) add a single amplifier and a subwoofer are

PRO:
close -Scene but relatively good sound stereo
-Better definition
-a good level of infra
CON:
-no "time alignment"

* idea 2)
1) change the front speakers:
2) to a central voice without tweeter
3) add amps and a subwoofer
4) adding a DSP

PRO:
wide and deep sound -Scene
-Better definition
-a good level of infra
CON:
-no "time alignment"
-Noise Floor very very high

ML is owned by Harman International, they probably licensed the branding and specific use of their technology to Toyota who then gets Pioneer or FujitsuTen to manufacture the deck for them.

I agree about the English as well policy. While I still consider myself as French first, I live in an English part of Canada, so I usually use English first. Not the same when I go to Montreal or Quebec City.

I can order beer in multiple languages, but that's off topic.
