The pursuit of F
Awesome collection of pictures especially from the autospies link. Lots of details I never noticed before. Also, we get to see how roomy the interior and cargo area is for its size, truly amazing. Thanks!

TSopranoMB, several of us are stumped on a couple mysteries with the NX. Can you help unravel them?
1. Any courtesy door lights? Typically they're at the bottom of the door but we don't see them in pics.
2. What's the strap/cover for? It's between the RTI and console box.
Thanks!

however something new and noteworthy is the DOOR HANDLE ILLUMINATION as seen here:
looks like its used to pull up the console after pressing the release tab

Note the pull tabs are in different spots between the 200t and 300h. Also note the cover is level and lower on the 300h and inclined on the 200t. Finally, the console lid has its own handle that looks like you simply press it inwards and then lift the lid to open it begging the question why would we have to use the strap to open the console lid .

Did you notice if a heated steering wheel was included in either model of the NX that you looked at?
Also, can you comment on the quality of the plastics used in the interior?

hmmm..perhaps it is a small compartment for loose change?
I did not notice a button for heated steering wheel....
quality of the plastics are similar to the 2014 IS model....top notch...along with the stitching on the consoles and the LEXUS rivets used (similar to the LFA)

I know my pictures aren't as nice as the ones posted, but I thought I would share. Yesterday I went back to the auto show to see the NX and at first I wasn't sold in the pictures. IMO it looks a lot better in person.
I can't wait to order that rear F-Sport badge for my IS!

Pole Position
I suspect the next generation RX will be upsized half a class in order to keep some distance between the new RX and NX.
