Have anyone placed new logo or emblem (dont know how to call it) on lexus gs 450h 2006-2007?
Coz i know that on gs 450h since 2008 models there is Logo which is solid black and has blue rounding on it.
Or may be any knows where to buy that logo. Coz when i went to dealership they told me that this thing costs around 700 usd.

Yeah that sounds like the pre-crash one you need the one that is not pre-crash. I tried this and the part# and the design in size is completly different, we posted it next to it and it would require me to get the grill and bumper as well. But tell me if you achieve this cause I will try again.

You can do it easily. Coz U dont need to change hole bumper. U can just change inside black plastic part of the grill. I tried it is same size. Only problem is to find that logo with blue thing for a reasonable price. If you find somewhere plz let me know. I ve read that logo can be that much expensive because it made of phosphorus and it glows at night .

The emblems did change in 2008 and no, its not just the radar cruse. The front/rear emblems gained a new giant plastic logo in place of the chrome ones. THe rear one is easy to repalce, the front I am not so sure. Its not just radar cruise.

it surely is expensive. i guess lexus put the price so high just to try avoid everyone from getting it

Back in 2009, I damaged my front bumper by hitting another car lightly which cracked my emblem. The total cost to replace the front bumper was $2600.59 ($2,136.39 in parts and $464.20 in labor). The emblem was the most expensive item on the invoice. My insurance company told their repair shop to find them a used emblem, but there was no used emblem around since the car was really rare to see on the street. The repair shop had to buy me the new emblem. Behind the emblem, the repair shop told me that you have the bluetooth and other electronics connected to it. If you want to know the cost of it, the cost of the emblem was $938.28.

wow, really? i thought it was just the adaptive cruise control that was behind the blue emblem...

i guess i won't be getting an aftermarket grill then!

Sorry to break a bad new to you that the blue "L" emblem is really expensive to put on your 2007 GS450H. I could have gotten myself a 2007 model if one of the dealers would have given me a good deal, but none of them wanted to budge on price back in late of 2007.

I replaced my grill on my 07 450h and in the process I cracked off one of the posts on the back of the emblem (the grill wasn't made right and the posts didn't fit...so I tried to make it fit and c-r-a-c-k!). I called Lexus to get another one and was quoted some ungodly price. I was told then that it was because it had something embedded in it for the radar.

So I just used double sided tape and wedged it in tight. So far, after close to 4 years, the thing is still hanging tight.

I've attached a picture of the emblem on the grill prior to installation. However, mine doesn't have the blue you are looking for.
