Navtool in rx400h
Hey everyone,
I just installed a Navtool in my 2006 rx400h. For anyone who is not familiar with this product, it allows one to connect an external device such as a game console or DVD player, and have video playback from that device on your Navigation screen. The older units for older vehicles such as mine only have Video output but newer ones have both audio and video playback.
In any case, I believe I've installed it correctly as I can interface a media player or game console to the Navtool and output video to my Nav screen. However, I have run into an issue with a lingering ghost image of the previous Navigation screen in the background during video playback.
Has anyone else who has installed a Navtool or similar product in their RX had this same problem?

no I ended up installing an additional aftermarket Pioneer AVIC-Z1 with the latest maps in.
since I wanted too many features, like video to rear, rearview mirror, ipod, nav traffic and 5.1 surround sound. Now I have dual screen on my front dash which is nice
