Rear wiper blade CAN be replaced on RX400H
(fyi) There is an alternative to going to the dealer for a replacement rear blade on the Lexus RX 400H. It may first appear that the blade and arm are one piece but if you take a look, you'll see the wiper blade can be replaced and its actually quite simple. It is a special rear wiper blade though. There may be other alternatives, but the 'Trico Exact Fit Rear Blade' snaps right onto the special rear arm and looks like the factory original. You can find it online. Much cheaper than the dealer alternative and easier/less tedious than messing around with rubber blade refills. Comes with removal and replacement instructions too. Hope this helps.

Thanks for pointing this out. I recently replaced just the rubber strip on my '06, but find it still doesn't wipe cleanly at the top. Likely the wiper blade itself is worn, bent or something. Didn't bother to call the dealership to check the price of a new blade , just ordered the Trico for $17 CDN from the local parts store.

refills
I purchased refills (just the rubber) to replace the front wiper blades. They were exactly what I paid for... CHEAP. I do not get the performance that I would of gotten had I replaced them with BOSCH (or the factory Japan version of the wiperblade).
I have not found a rubber refill for the rear arm, as of yet. The quality of the rubber is directly proportional to the cost, and unfortunately most "rubber only" do-it-yourself refills use horrible quality.
Cheers,
MadloR
P.S. I got mine from the local parts store, aka NAPA

Just purchased the 'Trico Exact Fit Rear Blade' 14A and it fits perfectly. It even has instructions on the package that explain how to get the arm to release up and get the old blade off. $9.99 at my local Advance Auto.

None of the Advance Autos carry it in my area but I've been ordering it online for a few years now: https://www.headlights123.com/detail...products_id=11
I go with neoforms on the front and the exact fit on the rear. Also - try the glass treatment...amazing.
