I have always run synthetic in my 2008 RX400h I change the oil/filter about every 10K miles. I had been running Amsoil 0-20W during the first couple years of ownership. The last 6 months I've been running Quaker State full synthetic. I saw an increase of 2 MPG running Quaker State. From 24 to 26 MPG.

How is Mobile 1 compared to the other synthetics? I've never used anything but Mobile 1 because that is what Porsche recommends. My little Porsche takes 9.5 quarts of synthetic. I just bought this 400h, how many quarts will I need to have ready for an oil change?

Pole Position
In the book Coolant at 100k miles, and brake fluid at 60k intervals. There is also a transmission fluid that I personally change at 20k intervals, but that is me. The CVT transmission Takes only WS Toyota fluid, no alternatives. There is a front that takes about 4 quarts and rear that takes 2 quarts. There isn't any power steering fluid etc. Everything else is electric. There is also coolant for the inverter assembly that is good for 100k miles. (same as the gas engine coolant) this car has two separate cooling systems for the gas engine and the inverter.
