Hi guys,

I came across a with a low 39k miles 2008 GS450h. Went to see the car today and it is at 90% cosmetic condition. Carfax is immaculate. I drove it for a short while and boy, what a fun car to drive. This thing really pulls some power.

I got a P0A0F error while running Dr Prius for the first time. I run it again a couple of times later and the error disappeared. Nonetheless Dr Prius could not complete 100% of neither Life expectancy test nor Full Battery test. The car got 12 of its 20 battery cells replaced 1 year ago.

I connected my Thik Diag OBD scanner and almost everything was fine but I got a few DTC codes (pictures attached). The fuel tank was almost empty, so perhaps this could explain the P3193 Fuel Run Out error?
Also the tank emptiness could have cause the Hybrid Control error below?
1.POAOF Engine Failed to StartCurrent
2.POAOF Engine Failed to Start History

Even though I got a cruise control related error it was working properly . The telescopic Tilt sensor and motor also presented an error, but it was working fine.

Based on the attached files and this preliminary report, what would be your main concerns with this particular car?

I really appreciate any input form more experienced users with Hybrid GS450.

Not me.

Add fuel to the car, clean the codes and try again, IMO. The battery may very well need a refurb despite the mileage - keep this in mind.
