New owner of HS250h
Hi all,
I will pick up a 2010 Lexus HS250 with Tech package from an independent dealer 9 hours away. What should I check when I pick up the car? Does anybody have a checklist that I need to follow? It has only 31k miles and a lease return, the Toyo tires are still in good shape. Is the cabin/AC filter having same design like the GS that requires to change to recirculate mode when changing it? Please give me your advices
I'm come from a GS that was totaled last August after a wreck. Currently driving a 2010 Acura MDX Tech that I bought last August, too. The MDX is good for road trip but it has horrible mpg, 15 city, 19hwy. I want to get this HS250 as my daily driver.
Thanks,

Make sure it had it's 30k check up. That's a bigger one, where they change the cabin filter among other things.
If it wasn't done by a Lexus dealer, make sure one checks it out. Most independents I know don't understand hybrids.
But overall, you shouldn't have any problems. It's a very trouble free car, and at 31k, it's hardly broken in.
Good luck, keep us posted on what you do.

I got the HS250H for about 2 months and I'm happy with its performance and driving experience. I did the suspension arm recall, fuel neck, and new rear logo at a local Lexus dealer. The chrome logo was peeled off and was replaced free under warranty.
It is trouble free car so far. I average around 34mpg. I'm still trying to get used to with CVT since I come from 2006 GS300.
