I shudder to think about what a tragedy the rail system we are seemingly going to be force fed will do to our state. Over/under on the total cost anyone? Chances of it paying for itself...ever?

I was wondering if anyone knows what is going on with the construction on Kapiolani blvd? Its crazy driving there not a place for low-profile tires to drive through.
Its like if i wanted to go Off-roading, forget the West side, Kapiolani got loads of huge mounds, dips and metal plates to try out.
Sorry just my rant, Its like almost everywhere is bad. Well except on some parts on Ala moana Blvd and i do mean some parts.

Kind of off-topic, but have any of you guys driven down Queen street between Kamakee and Ward lately?
I thought I was hallucinating the first time I realized it was actually a flat surface again!
