Traffic via HD Data services 2014
So the traffic appearance via the HD Data Services network seems to be random. There are times I get it and on the way back it will not appear. I live in south west CT which they claim is full coverage. It is really random and there does not be anyway to see if it is a single strength problem or not. The only indicator is on the NAV screen with the HD)) system in the upper left corner.
Anyone else complain yet? Figure out away to getting it more reliable.
I realize I can force it through my cell phone, but why use up my data plan for it when supported in my current area.

Firmware bug
OK so after Lexus spent a day with my SUV , 2014 GX460, they confirmed there is a bug in the firmware in which the HD Traffic signal will not be found and used automatically . They hope to have a fix sometime in June.
You have to tune you radio to one of the Clearchannel stations that broadcast the traffic and weather signal. I normally do not listen to one of these stations.

click on your area on the right side and stations are listed above the map.

I believe with all that use the new service. They said there are reports from other owners according to corporate. If you happen to listen to one of stations listed you would not have an issue.

I have the same problem in my IS 250. Last week I stopped receiving traffic data and it says it is unavailable. I had multiple issues with my system as a whole from the time I bought it in July so finally in August they had someone come down from LA and ended up doing a firmware update which worked great until now.

So I downloaded the Enform update, prompted via the screen, to my SUV. It seems to have fix the HD Traffic bug in that I receive HD Traffic info, not via my phone, no matter what station I am listening to. To get the update I needed to plug in my phone via the USB port in the car and have the Enform app running. Took a couple tries but it finally downloaded.

So about 1 week ago it stopped automatically finding the HD Traffic and weather stations. They say it will be a firmware fix, via USB stick, that the tech will have to apply in June or July. Made sure the tech and service manager knows I am not happy at this time, hopefully they pass it up the line
