New 2014 GX460 Owner
Hey everyone,
Just picked up a brand new 2014 Knight's Armor Grey over Black Base GX 460. Holy $hx8 what a beautiful truck and ride!!!!!!!
I came from a long history of Jeep Wranglers, before finally giving up on the plasticky quality and unreliability, and switched to a 2011 Audi S4, which I absolutely loved at the beginning due to the intoxicating speed and grip. However, it was the most unreliable thing I have ever seen - within 18,000 km it suffered a water pump failure, weatherstripping falling, headlight washers failing requiring a bumper replacement, total electrical failure of everything behind the dash, and finally the dreaded carbon buildup issue requiring 3 days in of cleanout at the dealer. I basically had enough, so I went straight for Toyota/Lexus and checked everything out. Nearly pulled the trigger on a 4Runner (which I thought was amazing as well, but the front was a touch too cartoonish for my taste).
I have to say, it feels bloody good to get back in a good old BOF beast. Will post pictures as soon as I clear the snow that buried it last night!!!!
