With the kinetic suspension, does it go down every time you turn the car off and does it go up when you turn the car on?

Air suspension

It finally dawned on me what you were seeing. The billows you were talking about are the air bladders used to lower and raise the truck...they were not a part of the kinetic suspension. To validate this, raise the truck to the high position, and view the bladders before and after. And the latest post on the blizzard color validates your post totally. So, now we wait for the additional changes for the 04. Oh the waiting game can be sooo cruel.

I just contacted So. Bay Lexus... The Blizzard White GX470 is SOLD! along with the other one on the lot.
I was explained that the only difference in this unit was the color. As for the suspension, it has not changed.

I thought I was the only one noticing the bottoming out. I took it to the dealership and drove with their top technical guy. We drove mine back to back with a new one. Even he noticed that mine at any setting absorbed the bumps too quickly and felt like it hit the stops. The other car by comparison absorbed the bump more ratably throughout the range of travel. I'm taking it in tomorrow for them to look at. I'll let you know what they say.

Any word on the bottoming out of the suspension? The dealer just told me it was normal. I hate when the dealer tells me that.

suspension bottoming out
I took my GX in last week and they determined that mine had shocks that were rated differently than other GX's. They believed that this was the cause and so they swapped out some shocks from another new GX. Unfortunately, I don't feel much if any difference. It still hits hard on dips.
I would be more discouraged, except that I drove another new one when I first went to the dealership and it rode as I would expect the vehicle to. I want to go back and put it through some more test driving to make sure, but I do think the GX can handle the dips well, just not all of them. I will take it back in again to see what else they can do to diagnose the problem. I think one more shot at it is in order before I start talking replacements.
On another somewhat related note; does your suspension settings make any noticeable difference in the way it rides/handles? Mine doesn't.
