Suspension issue -on a road trip
Earlier today, I replaced my rear shocks with Toyota 4 Runner OEM shocks (non-air ride set). Things were fine all day and the suspension felt great.
A few hours into a road trip tonight, I noticed the vehicle was bouncing on the highway a lot so I pulled off at the next exit. Pulling into the gas station; every tiny bump cause the rear end to slap and bottom out.
The driver side rear is stick in the low position and the passenger side is normal height. I can't raise or lower the rear at all. When I try to raise or lower it you can hear the pump running but nothing happens. It almost sound as if it is leaking.
Any tips on how to diagnose the problem whether it is a sensor, an airbag failure or something else. Any tips for a reset it a temp fix that will get me home?
I'm parked for the night but will have to make a the 2.5 hour drive home tomorrow.
I'm also wondering if aside from the annoying bounce and the hard slapping, if driving home is ok to make (not that I have a huge choice).

its usually the airbag leaking, it's he weakest link in the system, rubber, weather, salt, inflate deflate all the time, that stuff just gets dry and cracks. I wonder if j had sprayed them with silicone occasionally could j have gotten more life from them?
