100w 9005 bulbs for High Beam ?
I wonder if anyone has installed 100w 9005 for their high beams. I've used 55/100 H4 bulbs in my tacomas and other vehicles but heat is a concern on this vehicle.
What about LED replacements for the high beams ?
Anyone with first hand experience ?
Thanks

I would not run those bulbs. Heat will be an issue for sure. There is a good possibility of melting the wiring harness also. This happened to me on an old sc400 I had. Your best option would be hid's or led's if you need more light output. I've yet to experiment with led's but I have had great success with hid kits. There are currently 3 kits in my GX. (6000k High, 6000k low and 3000k fogs).

to the OP, i know PIAA makes a set of LED bulbs that are supposed to be really great, im thinking about getting a set for the high beams as i already have HIDs for the low.
