No Volume from Radio
HI
My wife went to start up her 2006 GX470 and there was no sound from the radio or CD player.
All the lights and buttons seem to be working properly but no sound at all.
I suspect it may be the amplifier.
I checked the fuses under the hood and radio 1 and radio 2 seem to be okay.
Is there anyway to check if the radio is and or the amplifier the issue?
My second question is it worth buying just the factory radio/amp or is it better to upgrade the radio and amplifier?
Will any of the factory options be lost if going aftermarket?
Are there plug and play wiring harnesses so I don't have to splice the wires?
It is again a 2006 Gx470 with Navigation without Mark Levinson and with rear entertainment system.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Weird thing is that the volume decided to work this morning when my wife started the car so it seems more likely the amp.
I checked all the wires under the passenger seat going to the amp and checked for error codes by using the pressing the info switch and turning on the taillight 3 times and no errors came up
Do you know if I can just replace the amp with an aftermarket and will it have any conflicts with the navigation and rear entertainment system?
But please send me the trouble shooting guide.
Thanks for your help and if anybody else has any thoughts please post them
