Default Engine immobilized light

Hope all is well. I am a proud owner of a 2008 gx 470. So far I absolutely love the truck! Wanted to reach out to all you guys and see if anyone knew how to get the "engine immobilizer" light to stop blinking.
The other night my battery died. While waiting for a friend to come give me a jump, I noticed the car emblem with a key in it started to blink.
After a successful jump, the engine immobilizer is still blinking only when I shut off the car.

Anyone know how I can stop it?

Many thanks and looking forward to reading all the post on here!

first suggestion would be to unhook battery for about 10 minutes and see if that clears it up.

i actually had to change the battery and it was unhooked for about 30 minutes while i put in a battery bracket and when i fired the car up again, that light was still there. I noticed that when i lock the car, the blinking light stops blinking and stays constant.

At first i thought it was just the car "telling" would be theives that the car was alarmed.

The blinking symbol of the light key when the car is off is your security alarm is active. When you lock the doors with the remote after a bit the key will; constantly flash that is the warn away for inquiring thief's. Check your battery sounds like its bad or your charging system is at fault
