Your going to have to get a diagnosis so you know where your issue or issues are . Good luck
No it is not raising and lowering when i drive, but normally after you turn the vehicle off you would hear the backend lower...has since brand new in 03....and it does not do that now. I am thinking the air bags are good, it may be the chip that automatically operates this that may be a problem. again, it's an 03 with 226K miles. so some of these parts are simply wearing out.

So that part is fine...but what i am finding is that when driving, you know how the rear raises slightly and then when you stop you can hear the air being released and it lowers....

Your orig post mentions the truck raising slightly and then no pressure release. My truck does not lower with a release of air unless I was using it low speed in the high position. There seems to be a great deal of confusion about how the suspension should work

here's a good one...i just had the dealer quote on replacing some of these parts...now I only explained to him the similar situation above to get an idea of repairs....they quoted 5000.00......you have got to be kidding. i am asking them for the detail cause it appears they have the entire back half of the car being replaced!!! I'll update on the detail when I receive it. Of course I really need them to diagnose it first!
