Timing belt or not
My 04GX just hit 100K and still runs like a rock. It is just for a daily used. Recently got a quote from dealer for $925+tax for timing belt + water pump. Seems reasonable. Maybe the dealer will push more for other replacement parts when service. My question is, GX timing belt seems to be more robust than other parts, like shocks, airbag, height control, radiator..... At this age of the GX, for > 1K $$, should I spend on other stuff than timing belt? At lease at the moment , I am seeing the the rust on the rear shocks. Any comment is welcome!

Pole Position
Changing the belt is by time OR by mileage. So you're overdue.
Stuff to change "while they're in there" (because most of that cost is labor):
Accessory belt
Cam & Mainshaft seals
Tensioner
Water pump
Idler pulley
Maybe:
Thermostat
Chip H.
