90k Service and fender flair seperation
2006 with 87,0xx on it so I am rolling up to the 90k service. Since I don't have the time or all the tools to do it myself, I was wondering what some of you had run into cost wise at the dealership. I am trying to prepare myself for a possible $1,000+ service.
Also, like everyone, there has been bitterly cold weather and moisture. I noticed on the rear passenger fender flair it is starting to separate from the body near the door panel. About a quarter of an inch. You can see the tape being pulled between the body and fender flair piece. I do not see any of the screws or snaps being pulled. I assume water/snow somehow worked into it and the cold expansion started to separate it. Any thoughts or let the body shop tackle it? Will try to post photos later.
Thanks

Lead Lap
I recently had someone back into my driver's side door and scuff the paint on that rubberized panel. Because my GX is black, refinishing that lower panel with a panel-to-panel match was an easy job for the shop. I watched the technician remove the panel and also watched him re-install it after it was re-finished. Both the removal and the re-installation took less than 5 minutes. It may be the case, however, that the shop has to order the clips (at a ridiculous price from Lexus). The ones needed for my door panel are a Lexus-specific clip, and the more generic clips that the shop had on hand would not work.
