I have 2006 Lexus Gx470 and radio power button wont turn on. does anyone have
idea what is wrong with this unit. I have checked all the fuses and they are all still
in good. (blue tooth, navigation are still working). Please let me know if you know this symptom.

Same issue with my 2004 GX 470 I have checked all fuses including radio 1& 2, pulled the amp and no signs of damage and even checked wires harness from doors to body. My understanding is there is a speaker wire grounded or the ML amp is bad.

My issue is when you turn the ignition on the radio will come on for 2 seconds then pop. Same thing happens if I leave the ignition on and unplug the amp and then plug it in again.

There is a TSB for replacement of the Radio unit TSB - L-SB-0006-10 ( Abnormal Radio Operation) the replacement is done provided you are under the Lexus Comprehensive Warranty .
Certain Pioneer Model of the Radio were faulty and effective VIN from JTJBT20X8#90177558 had to be replaced. The condition concluded were Intermittent fucntion, scrambled, Off/ON faulty. So here goes, if you are in that VIN category for GX models 2007 - 2009 models. Head to the Dealer.
