I've looked through a ton of threads but can't seem to find the right answer. Is it ok to us Mobil 1 75w90 in the front/rear/transfer case or should I get the Toyota fluid? Toyota seems like a lot. Need to do this soon. Thanks!

Toyota doesnt make the fluids,its rebadge from Mobil 1.

I have found that Mobile 1 75-90 is the best, most readily available (easy to find) and cost effective.

There's a whole bunch of good gear oils out there. I put Redline 75W90 in our 4Runner V8 (similar to the GX470) and use Royal Purple 75W90 in my RX300. However, Mobil1 and Amsoil gear oils are other goods ones, too.
