GX460 wheels on a GX470
Just bought a 2005 GX470 with stock 17" wheels. I would like to switch to a set of 18" chrome GX460 wheels. Will my existing tire pressure sensors(tps) work on the 18" GX460 wheels? What size tire should I use on the 18" wheels? Any input is appreciated.

I'm about 99% sure that your stock sensors will work with the newer 18" GX wheels. I just bought aftermarket TPMS sensors for my stock GX wheels and the write up from the seller (eBay) said that the sensors I bought were compatible with 03-12 GX's as well as 03-12 4Runners, and up to 06 Tundras and 07 Sequoias as well as many other makes and models.
Worst case scenario, you could buy after market ones like I did. They only ran me $36 a piece (that was less than $200 for a set of 5 incl. shipping).
Hope this helps.

Yes, existing TPMS will work perfectly fine on your 18" wheels.
I have set of 18" wheels (high-shine silver) with tires from 2013 GX460, brand new. Interested?

Like others have said, your stock TPMS will swap over without any problems. What size tire is up to you. Im running a tire just shy of 33" in diameter on aftermarket 18" wheels. Stock tire size is a little over 31".

I bought new sensors from TireRack, but the ones from the OE wheels would have worked fine too.
