Manheim Auction price
Looking to see if anyone has access to manheim auction pricing for a 2007 GX470, 100k miles in Midwest region? Looking to trade my GX and think the dealer is low balling me. He says he's going off of Manheim with a $21,000 trade offer, but that seems to be about $1500 too low..... thanks

To the OP, what are you trading the GX in for?

yeah... i think the rest of the world cares more about the year of manufacture than mileage or atleast kbb and other appraisers... but for me it's has always been mileage that's the deal breaker for me...
anyway the standard value rule for appraisal is that 10k/yr so the op's car should be at 50k miles but he done double that mileage so of course they would knock down his kbb value... but if $1500 is the depreciation from mileage alone then that seems fair...
but as we all know, the dealer always bargain with an upper hand so op should always ask for more... gl

PM me ... I have manheim access and am in the midwest .... it is not a straight forward as manheim prices ... there are alot of other variables that Manheim doesn't take into account
also dealers will try to make money on the trade in and the car being sold ... how do you think they pay the nice fancy show rooms

actually, i just kinda checked some appraisal values for our trucks, it seems like the 2006 models and beyond are highly valued, ie to a much higher extent than pre-2006 models... from 05 to 06 the difference is huge and same from 06 to 07...
so yeah the 2007 gx470 maket value is easily $25k, sell it yourself and you come out way ahead... gl
ps mine is an 04 with 49k when i bought it and cheap so i miscalculated... gl

Likely trading for the new Infiniti JX..... Wife is in love with that ride, and, honestly I was quite impressed with it. It's as smooth as the GX without the "floaty" ride and dead silent in the cabin. Plus, gotta keep momma happy.....

well i am big fan of infiniti products just as i am of lexus... i have a g35 coupe that i think is a sweet car...
the jx is gonna be a very nice big crossover... with 3rd row seats and all... as long as you can get over the exterior design then i guess it's ok... why not jump on a qx56 2nd gen of course...
