Another tire size question
Hey guys. I just purchased a 2005 GX and and doing some mods. I don't like the look of the 265/65/17. Does anyone know if you can fit a 285/70/17 without a lift kit???? I've searched extensively on here, but couldn't find anything. Let me know what you think. Thanks, Scott.

Thanks, but this guy's GX is lifted. I'm wondering if anyone on here has tried and can definitively tell me it rubs. Purplehaze told me it would rub, but I'm not sure he actually tried it himself. From all of my research, I think it would fit BARELY fit, but I was just wondering if anyone tried it. Some people on CL are running huge wheels and tires and the diameters are almost the same as the 285/70/17s. I may have to just try it myself to figure it out.
