Hyperactive cruise control?
So I have had my GX for about 6 months now and generally love it. This week I had my first need to tow with it and while I was generally impressed with the towing ability, I noticed that the cruise control while towing was a total spas. Even on flat land, if I set it, it would constantly kick down to a lower gear for 10 seconds, then return to the highest gear, then repeat over and over again. If I turned it off, I was easily able to maintain my speed without the gears shifting. Unfortunately, this meant I had a good 1300 miles of old school right-pedaling it.

I completely agree, the cruise control is hyperactive. I have found this to be true with our previous Lexus GS300. I find it hard to maintain a constant speed on anything but flat roads. You'd think Lexus could come up with a better solution?
