2011 gx 460?
#46
When will there be more info out... I just read about the 2010 Tundra with the new 4.6 engine. I would prefer the GX to get the 5.7, but just want to know when this redesign will be out and when there will be some more pictures.

You will be looking at about a 10% price increase.

Correct as of right now
Probably not, it should stay much the same.
It will get a lot of tech from the LX.
Nope, same door. That comes direct from Lexus production meetings.
Available, but the likelihood of seeing it as a mass-produced option is slim.
About right, should go for between $55K and $60, with loaded-up around $63K.

The next gen GX will have a power lift up rear door. There is no doubt about this. Also, the GX will sport new horizontal rear lights in the rear compared to the current vertical taillamps.
Third row seating will be electric fold flat into the floor.
I believe KDSS is history.
As for stying. The styling will look nothing like the next generation Prado.

I like side opening door or even cargo door like Tahoe. Hope they keep it that way.
Finally!! Fold-flat 3rd row!! I'm sick and tired of taking it in and out all the time.

No more solid rear axle.

How about having two clutches in the Gearbox, one to take the load and the other to preselect the next gear. All happening in a Blink of an eye. This is similar to the technology used on V10 R50 5.0 TDI VW Toureg.
Yeah ! Yeah ! Yeah ! What about After burners similar to Jet engines... The list is endless. Guess what the end result from toyota due to recession would just make body changes and few tweaks on the Engine BHP and torque. We all be having a good laugh at the end of day!!

That would be correct. The new GX460 will have an IRS with a lower ride height that will lower slightly at highway speeds with the new AVS with air. The rear hatch will be full automated power which opens vertically. The rear hatch will have horizontal rear taillamps and there will be more crome.
