An addition to the family
Just took delivery of my new 2008 Lexus GX470
Only problem I'm having with it right now is the navigation. I could set the address but it won't route me there. Am I suppose to have a Navigation DVD? If so, aren't I suppose to get one?
Anyways, here are some pictures.
the engine bay is gorgeous!
a shot of my other car. rims are on it's way

Lookin good! First white 08 i've seen...those clear turn signals are a major improvement over the 07's, especially with the blizzard peal exterior! The chrome accents also look really nice with that color.
And yes, you are supposed to get the Nav DVD with purchase (assuming your vehicle is equipped with the NAV/ML package)...I can't imagine why your vehicle would be missing it, but if the map will display, I'd say it's there. Maybe there's a software issue with the destination feature.

Welcome!
The new taillights look great on the white color.
I believe after inputting your destination, don't forget to hit GUIDE (if you haven't done so).
Or have you checked under the front passenger seat. Hit the eject button and the dvd should pop out. Otherwise, the dealer forgot to give you one.
By the way, HID is still not standard on the GX. Just get the H11 kit from xenon depot (our vendor).
Give lexus another 2 years or so since the new LX will have them (it's about time too)
