2017 Lexus GX price paid
I'm looking to purchase a 2017 GX Premium Package, sticker price $58,900. Dealer is willing to go down to $55,000. Has anyone had any experience buying a 2017? I'm in CT.

That's pretty close to as low as they are going to go.
I have a relative that is a car wholesaler that did my transaction, he does a lot of Lexus business with high volume dealers and has been in the car business forever.
The sticker was $59,500 and we got it for like $54,100 before taxes. He went out of state for it (CA) he said the local dealers where I'm located are just not willing to move much, especially in places where there's few Lexus dealers. I just paid him a small flat fee outside of the transaction and transportation costs.
So you might be able to squeeze a bit more, but I think you negotiated a good price on it and are basically in the 1% range of going any further. If it's what you want color and option wise, I would grab it.
Most Lexus dealers have no problem moving SUVs, it's their sedans that aren't doing well and sitting on the lot for too long.

I would think that is a pretty good price. We paid ~62K for our Luxury with trailer hitch a couple of other extras. That was well below what we were quoted as "the last best deal" from several other dealers.

So I looked closer. Our sticker was Just under $66k Then the chrome exhaust (We would not have paid for) the floor mats, clear bra, trailer hitch, cargo mats, wheel locks and all the stuff they can add. We paid $61,157.00 I don't think this was the best we could have done. But I, think it was fair, and the fleet manager went way out of his way to show us everything on the lot. All colors, the differences on all options etc. Let us have the vehicle for as long as we wanted for an extended test drive. We had it for several hours, no problem, and no pressure about how long we took the car. Even offered to let us sleep on it, and re-test drive the next day. Took extra time to explain function of all the options. Actually really listened to our intentional use of the vehicle. Then offered some real world issues we could face with out intended use, witch will be more aggressive than most buyers will ever see.
So all in all a good purchase experience. Certainly no complaints
