Cool anyone ever try adjusting aim of LED Fogs?

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone try adjusting the LED foglamps on the 14+ GX? is it a straight screw design for vertical and horizontal like other lamps? any special instructions?

thanks.

why do you have to adjust them? They are auto leveling like the headlights.

Are you sure they auto level? Despite that fact, they are too low to the ground. I need more illumination slightly higher but mostly wider.

they are definitely auto level. Look at the light band when going up and down hills. You have to go slow to really notice it. I was going to swap them out but because of the auto level feature i left them on. I think they could be brighter but actually compared to most other vehicles the headlights are very bright.

There is a wheel for adjustment, but I don't know if it is for up and down or sideways. I just replaced both of mine, but didn't mess with the adjustment.

I think he MEANT the FOG. There is a small dark line gap between the Fog and the Low beams and I would like to adjust the fog up just a little.

So there was a screw on the back that is turned for up/down aim operation. Much better visibility
Should have come that way factory IMHO.

Can you post a picture of the said screw? Also, direction of the turn, Left or Right to move it Up> Thanks a bunch.

Didnt take any pics, but its right behind the foglight... from the passenger side, it can be accessed by inserting a screw driver from the small vents behind the fog. Driver side is slightly more involved because you have to take 3 screws out of the black plastic molding to allow access.

I believe right is up and left is down as far as direction is involved, but i would highly advise you park on a level surface facing a white wall to make it easier. My other advise is to just keep raising them higher and higher as you need to turn quite a bit to get it to satisfactory levels. wider beam to the sides down as a result.
