30K mi Dealer Maintenance Anyone?

They will make your wallet so that it slips into your pocket much easier.
If you are able to do maintenance items yourself, you can save a LOT of money and still maintain your warranty.

No reason to take it to the dealer, just document your oil changes and move on. Check the owners manual and look to see what they say to do and have your local trusted mechanic do it. I do most of it myself, I paid enough for the vehicle, I don't need to pad thier wallets anymore.
My .02 is if it's not a warranty repair there is no need to ever go see the stealership.

Amen Eppie!
Tnorling: You are absolutely correct. If you can't or don't want to do the work yourself, go to a Toyota dealership. You won't get any free cookies, but it will cost less!

They do use the same filters, I take my vehicles to the local Toyota dealer for oil changes as well. The Lexus dealer is 120 miles each direction from my home.
