Yeah, I don't know about region, my last GX 460 came with Michelins. I saw another premium model with Bridgestone tires on it yesterday in St. Louis. I'm tired of waiting on my wheels. They sent them to Detroit Wheel and Tire to be chrome plated. They said 2-2.5 weeks. Monday will be 2 weeks and they haven't offered any updates on the wheels. I still have my current GX to drive until I trade it in, so no big deal, I just don't like waiting. Your vehicle looks great, enjoy!

why did you chrome plate them? you got of probably got a whole 2nd set of wheels for price of
chrome plating.

It's not chrome plating, it's a powder coated chrome. It's more durable than the triple plated chrome like what I have on my LS 460. I don't need two sets of wheels and I know I'm paying the dealer more than what it would cost me to have it done. It's just easier to let them send them out. My last set came from US Wheel Exchange and I ordered them myself and had them shipped to the Lexus dealer. This vehicle is so new, there are no extra sets of wheels, that's what's taking so long. They had to send my wheels in and are waiting for my set to come back.

Thanks, I was tired of waiting on the wheels. They will have temporary center caps until Detroit Wheel and Tire can get the plastic caps from China. They had to send a cap out to be copied, you can't chrome plastic. Not sure what the temporary caps are going to look like. Might be the caps from the 2010-2013 chrome wheels. I will post some pictures once I pick it up. I've seen my vehicle a couple times, it's just sitting on a lift at the dealer. The wheels are supposed to arrive tomorrow and I should be able to pick it up Thursday afternoon. The dealer said the caps might take 90 days to arrive.

Two plus weeks to get your wheels powder coated? I dropped mine off yesterday 8am at a local shop and had the wheels taken off, coated and tires remounted by 5pm.
