Bob, Thanks for the pictures !!

Well, I finally got the new tires installed. The Michelin LTX M/S2. Bought them at Costco. Cost was right at $1000.

I was concerned because I kept reading that the tires would be a little stiffer due to the long wear, 70,000 mile warrantee. But heck, they ride better than the Bridgestones ever did.

Tires come with a Road Hazard warrantee. Costco will check tire pressure and add nitrogen anytime, fix all flats and rotate and balance tires every 7500 miles.

Both factory tires are decent but they will not last long. I'd be happy to get 30K good miles. I will be replacing them with the LTX MS2 (E rated) when the time comes. Need the E rating for towing.

For those of you who don't know, Costco usually gives that $70 bucks off 4 michelin tires two months in a row, then it switches to bridgestone for two months, then back to $70 off michelins.

Town Fair Tire usually matches a local competitor plus 5%. They also include flat tire fix, rotation, balance, etc. Road hazard depends on the type of tires.
