2012 Lexus GX 460 Changes Officially Announced

Unless I said it wrong I am not comparing the GT-R to Lexus, I was speaking about their level of service for those thinking outside the box. Not to start a fight here but you are thinking in the box and that's why you don't understand anything. You own a Viper which is the worst car made and I'm sure you only took your car to a race track, did a few highway runs but never took your car for a true run in 6 different countries, the Nurburgring, Swiss Alps, etc. Apparently this is one US GT-R owner who likes his easy to drive car rather than the Viper who will breakdown along a trip like this. All I ever here about Viper owners is I am doing 1000hp. The Porsche, Ferrari, Lambo owners really go out for some adventures. Google some links with those cars and you see them in some great places, google Viper and they are in some parking lot.
NOW about Lexus, I've ownd Lexus since 1995 when I was 19yrs old, it was an SC400, then got a GS300 in 1996 and did a Toyomoto Turbokit (yes back then I was beating up on most Vipers!) and my car had over 400hp at the time and by 2001 it had 500whp. Back then Lexus made a nice car but underpowered (as always) and my car shared the Supra drivetrain and it was nice to own a low 11second car with 4 doors. in 2001 I bought a genuine Toyota Aristo V300 twin turbo loaded to the max! 2001 RX300, 2003 GX470, 2004 GX470 (sold in Dec 2010), 2008 IS-F, 2011 GX460 (Nov 2010). There's no bragging here, just showing I have been a Lexus follower for a long time. Lexus just does not make cars for those who want a fully equipped car, that's all! I've already owned 2 GT-R's and still no sight of a car from them who can compete at an affordable price. I had a 2009 Mercedes CL65AMG, C63AMG, and I really like those cars but I'm looking forward for Lexus to make cars for the next level of people.

aristott,
While I agree that there is no passion with Lexus and I am one owner who just wants to get from point A to point B, I find it hard to understand your point of view since your GTR could be considered the same in terms of passion and plain looking when compared to other sports cars. I love the GTR and its performance is one of the best out there but from a passion standpoint it is also one of the most soulless sports cars out there in that it doesn't take much skill to drive it fast with all the driver assisted nannies on board and it doesn't stand out in a crowd unless you are into cars. If you want a car with soul and passion, Lexus is not your brand.

Wow, looks like I struck a nerve. You say you don't want start anything but you say the Viper is the worst car made. Nice and mature. I don't care if your GS300 can beat a Viper, big deal a lot of cars could including my old Supra TT. I also never said you compared a GTR to a Lexus, all I am saying is I don't understand where you are coming from when you talk about the passion of car manufacturers but some of the ones you have owned or own fall in the same bucket. I am just saying that if you have that many issues with Lexus and you want something more sporty, Lexus isn't the car for you but you know that already. I just don't understand why you continue to buy Lexus cars/trucks if you find them boring. I too would like Lexus to build more cars like the ones you want but I am not holding my breath. Why wouldn't you just buy a Cayenne Turbo, it seems like that would be a better fit for you.
